Love isn’t easy to come by.

For me and many alike,

being in love, is simply,

a transformation of friendship,

which is even harder to find!

But this climax of a handshake,

derivation of love from friendship

means risking them both

and that too, together.

I can tell, it hurts!

I have figured, it is wiser

to leave that path untraversed.

Because, the sorrow of losing

a priceless friendship is interminable.

I know it sounds clichéd but if only I knew it then

because, even time is not a healer!

I now understand, not to let that

journey of transformation begin!

you are living a bland life. Isn’t it?)

This gap in the deciding criterion

for a life partner

attached to the wonderful feeling of being in love.

Why is love

so complexly perceived

despite of its simplicity?

To myself, I am thinking,

it can’t get better

because, it is a mess!

Don’t I get it already?

As Ken Segall says it–

'People of all ages, religions, cultures,

and political beliefs prefer Simplicity.

This preference is burned into the

basic wiring of all living cells.’

Well, so is love!

Can we let that oneness

be there as pure as it is?

Or is it too late and,

too much to ask for?!

Word ‘Love’ Is and yet Not

Consequential Yet, so modest Powerful Yet, so small Perfect Yet, so flawed Wraps the unsaid in itself Yet, so confined in its eloquence A...
